Prunella vulgaris, known as common selfheal, heal-all, is a medicinal plant in the genus Prunella. In Western medicine, Heal All has always been regarded primarily as a wound herb, giving rise to many of its common names (Woundwort, Wound Root, etc.). In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Heal All was used as a liver and gallbladder stimulant and was used to treat conjunctivitis, hypertension and headaches, among other disorders.
